Listed below is a brief description of our companies qualifications, licenses that we hold as a CASA registered drone company. In addition to this Australian Aerial Imagery is in a very unique position to hold certification and full approval for Aerial Application in two states and one territory for

Drone Aerial Spraying, Drone Aerial Bait Dropping, Drone Aerial Application of Herbicides, Pesticides and Biological matter.



REMOTE OPERATORS CERTIFICATE (ReOC)



Australian Aerial Imagery Pty has been issued with a Remote Pilot Operators Certificate by the Australian Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in 2015 for commercial drone operators.

REMOTE PILOTS LICENSE (RePL)



All of Australian Aerial Imagery's drone operators / remote pilots have been fully trained in both theory and flight operations. All of drone pilots have passed the CASA theory and flight test examinations.

Our Company Chief Remote Pilot is also a Commercial Helicopter Pilot (CPL-H) and is a fully active, hands on Remote Pilot within the company.



PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCES



Australian Aerial Imagery is insured and holds Public Liability Insurance of $20m. This insurance covers all of our drone operations anywhere within Australia.



DRONE TYPE AND WEIGHT



Australian Aerial Imagery is licensed by CASA to operate multi rotor drones within Australia, with a mass take off weight to to 25kg. ​



PRIVILEGES



Australian Aerial Imagery is permitted by CASA to operate drones both during day and night time conditions as standard operating procedure.


We can operate within or near to Danger and Restricted Areas, certain Airports and Heliports.


We are permitted to operate within 3NM of major airports with certain approvals.


Australian Aerial Imagery is permitted to operate drones up to 15m from people and not the standard 30m



WE ARE FULLY LICENSED BY



Australian Aerial Imagery is licensed by :

  1. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for drone operations.
  2. The New South Wales Environmental Protection Authority (NSWEPA) for Aerial Application.
  3. The Australian Capital Territory Environmental Protection Authority (ACTEPA) for Aerial Application.
  4. The Queensland Biosecurity for Aerial Application.
