Thermal Imaging Drone Dog Search Sydney

THERMAL drone dog SEARCH SYDNEY.
FIND LOST DOG SERVICE.

Australian Aerial Imagery is offering Aerial Drone Thermal Imaging Search and Rescue Services for lost dogs. Our searches would be most suited to the bushland in and surrounding Sydney.

As a leader in aerial drone photography, videography and thermal imaging we have had several request to help find lost dogs across the NSW. If we are connected early enough when your dog has gone missing and you know the general area where the dog could be, then we could have a very successful outcome in a relatively short time.

Here at Australian Aerial Imagery we will continue to grow the services we offer, using the latest technology in drone thermal imaging to help us to locate your missing lost dog quickly and efficiently.

Generally speaking, with a single drone fitted with a thermal imaging camera we can search an are that is up to approximately 70 football fields in size (depending on the terrain type and the tree coverage) within a standard two hour period. To cover this same area by walking would take a team of say 5 people on foot approximately 1 to 3 days depending on the terrain difficulty.

Thermal imaging cameras are not x-ray machines. They can not see through tree trunks or thick tree limbs. However, they are very good seeing through the gaps it the tree canopies and especially at night. Most thermal imaging searchers are undertaken at night to provide the best results. Thermal imaging cameras also work great in long grass and scrubs up to 1.5m in height.

Of course we can not promise or guarantee that we will be able to find your lost dog as there are many factors that determine a successful search.

Some things that need to be considered are:

  • How long has the dog been lost for
  • Is the dog still within the search area
  • Did someone actually take the dog
  • Is the dog hiding or sheltering under something dense.
  • Is the tree canopy just far to dense for thermal imaging.

All of the above need to be considered when organizing and planning a thermal dog search. We do not expect you to know all of this information, so when you make contact with us I will personally talk you through the entire planning process to see if you still would like to proceed with the drone thermal imaging search or not.

If we search an area and the search was not successful its not all bad. It just means that you can most likely have the knowledge that the area searched was not the location where the dog is and concentrate your precious time and resource on the ground to cover.

As you should be able to tell from our website a huge amount of our work is related to professional drone thermal imaging so please be assured that we are highly rated in drone thermal imaging.

All that is known for sure right now is that, you have nothing to loose by talking with me to discuss your possible options.

My Cavalier King Charles Polly went missing in dense and remote bushland in the Blue Mountains. Mark was contacted late on the Friday she went missing, and came to assist with his thermal drone at 6am the very next morning. Even though conditions worked against us in the beginning, Mark was willing to remain flexible and we ultimately spotted her close to the area she disappeared. This was so important because it meant I could narrow my search area down from thousands of acres to a specific spot. She was missing for a total of 7 days, and Mark stayed engaged and invested the whole time - his calm demeanour was welcome during a time when I felt scared and desperate to find my girl. I ended up finding her quite close to where we spotted her with the drone - thin and hungry but otherwise in one piece. I am so thankful to Mark for his help during the process - his professionalism, responsiveness and care made a very stressful situation a little easier.
